The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) is the largest professional medical organization in the United States focussed on allergy and immunology. They have recently released a free on-line tool, ‘The Virtual Allergist™’, that can provide consumers with information about symptoms of allergy and asthma.

The tool features a ‘click through’ menu based on parts of the body that may be affected by symptoms of allergy. As well as providing information about various potential allergies, it suggests when to visit an allergist in relation to specific symptoms. A link to a directory of allergists located around the world is another useful feature of the tool.
