New Zealand Ice Cream Manufacturers Conference

The Allergen Bureau continues to work with the AFGC Communications group to disseminate the latest information regarding allergen management and labelling.

Caroline Allison of Cerebos Foods represented the Allergen Bureau at the recent New Zealand Ice Cream Manufacturers Conference, raising the food allergen awareness amongst this sector of the industry.  Caroline presented an overview of the work carried out to-date by the AFGC Allergen Forum, and encouraged delegates to obtain a copy of the revised AFGC Guide to Allergen Management and Labelling when it becomes available in June 2007.
