UK consultants Allergy Action have developed an allergy awareness training tool for food handlers, in DVD format. The training package, which includes an assessment, is aimed at anybody preparing, selling or serving food to others.

The 23 minute DVD is presented in two parts - a 17 minute training film which outlines many common food allergy risks and how they can be controlled, together with a six minute review of key Learning Points. Students' cards with a short multiple choice assessment and Tutor's notes complete the pack. See the Allergy Action or Allergy Training websites for more details.
