Monday, 17 January 2011 11:44
The first issue of the Australian Coeliac Disease Research Review was published in November 2010. The review includes some of the most important studies relating to coeliac disease, reviewed by members of the Coeliac Research Fund’s Clinical Advisory Committee and is aimed at providing an easy ‘digest’ of latest global developments in the field.
Included in the inaugural issue are studies into the diagnosis of coeliac disease in children; testing of patients with abdominal symptoms; the nutritional status of children with coeliac disease; morbidity and mortality in older undiagnosed patients; and T cell epitopes in gluten.
The monthly review is targeted to Australian/New Zealand medical professionals and is available upon free registration at http://researchreview.com.au/index.cfm.
