Excel version of AFGC Product Information Form (PIF)

Following feedback from industry on the PIF Word document, the Australian Food and Grocery Council (AFGC) has prepared an interim Excel version, and indicated their intent to develop a new version of the form to provide greater compatibility with other databases.
Kim Leighton of the AFGC has suggested that developing a new PIF may take some time and is unlikely to be available before mid 2009. Therefore, as an interim measure, AFGC has developed an Excel version which works faster than the Word version and has been formatted with back pages that will enable data to be easily extracted into a database.
Although it is envisaged that many companies will welcome the new Excel version of the PIF, Kim wishes to emphasises that “it is only intended to be a temporary measure until the new form is available in 2009”.
