Monday, 15 February 2010 13:06
Allergy New Zealand, in collaboration with researchers at AUT University, are undertaking a study to develop a better understanding of parental perceptions of quality of life in children with food allergies.
They are calling for parents who have a child or children aged from birth to 16 years with a diagnosed food allergy to complete a questionnaire for the study. The confidential questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
The study is the first of its type in New Zealand, and the information gained will help to develop more effective support networks, and a better understanding of the impacts of food allergy. Summarised results will be made available through the Allergy New Zealand website and other channels.
