Allergy New Zealand’s theme for this year’s Allergy Awareness Week (16-22 May 2010) is 'Allergies — no walk in the park'. The aim is to draw the attention of a wider audience to the significant impact allergies have on individuals and families.

Through Allergy Awareness Week, Allergy New Zealand aims to improve the status of allergies by drawing the attention of the wider community to the burden of allergies and their significance as a health and wellbeing challenge. Allergy New Zealand has been providing this kind of help since 1981.
