Allergen Training Seminars October 2007

FACTA are pleased to offer all Allergen Bureau members a discount on attendance fees for their new series of Allergen Training Seminars in October 2007. Allergen training seminars are once more being held in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, with the addition of Adelaide for the first time. For more details please visit www.factaaustralia.com.au.

The seminars are provided as two units – a morning seminar as an introduction to Food Allergens and an afternoon seminar delivered as a more detailed session dealing with control and management of allergens within food facilities and highlighting industry best practice. Participants can choose to attend either session, or both if they prefer.

Seminar speakers

Main speaker - Robin Sherlock, Principal Allergen Scientist and Technical Director of FACTA. Rob has been the allergen scientist at EML QLD and now FACTA for the past 6 years, and was instrumental in setting up a NATA-accredited allergen testing facility. She has participated in two Australian Allergen Forum projects (Testing and Thresholds, and Allergen Risk Assessment Working parties), and was recently voted in as an Allergen Bureau management committee member. Robin has been an invited speaker and guest lecturer at a number of technical seminars and educational campuses in both national and international venues.

Pricing

Morning session (8:30 - 11:30) $150 ex GST

Afternoon session (13:00 - 17:00) $200 ex GST (includes lunch - 12:00 - 13:00))

Both seminars - $350 ex GST (includes lunch and satchel)

Individuals from the morning session who would also like to stay and network for lunch are encouraged to. A fee of $30 will be charged to cover lunch costs.
