Allergen Certification - update

The December 2006 issue of Allergen Bureau eNews featured an article describing the Certified Allergen Control (CAC) Program in Canada; the only program in the world to develop a standard and provide an end-product logo to demonstrate the allergen-free status of food products.

The Association Québécoise des Allergies Alimentaires (AQAA) is proud to present the brand new look of the CAC mark on their re-launched website: www.certification-allergies.com.

The CAC mark has been converted into several logos illustrating the allergens targeted by the Certification Program at the heart of a red symbol of prohibition. The elements of the old mark, i.e., the shape of the magnifying glass and the blue colour have been preserved to symbolize the stringency of the certification process and purity.
