The Allergen Bureau enters its 5th year!

The Allergen Bureau was established as an initiative of the Australian Food & Grocery Council Allergen Forum on 1 March 2005, and has operated on a membership basis since then. Be involved with our success! The new Allergen Bureau Membership year began on 1 April 2009. You can join us now and gain access to the most current and comprehensive resources on food allergen management.

The overall objective of the Allergen Bureau remains to share information and experience within the food industry on the management of food allergens to ensure consumers receive relevant, consistent and easy to understand information on food allergens.

The Allergen Bureau is increasingly involved in international forums on food allergen management and labelling, and we continue to draw on and disseminate information from all over the world on food regulations and the latest scientific research on food allergens including emerging food allergens.
