Australian DVD: release Living with Anaphylaxis

Recently released in Australia, a DVD on living with anaphylaxis is now available from Anaphylaxis Australia.

The DVD comprises three parts:

In part one, Dr Preeti Joshi, a paediatric allergist and immunologist at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, explains allergy and anaphylaxis and its management. This section describes how to recognise the symptoms of a severe allergic reaction and how to administer life-saving adrenaline medication using an EpiPen®.

Part two provides common scenarios that occur when caring for someone at risk of anaphylaxis, and part three includes specific information plus resources for school and childcare staff.
